Nobody can deny we are going through hard times. However, we’ll try and make the saying “Every cloud has a silver lining” come true by keeping up with the good work.
So, be that as it may, we’re bound to find the silver lining together while moving on… As you all know, last year we celebrated the 10th anniversary of Pek, the traveller flea. This year our students from 1º DAM and 2º DAM (Estrela PluriFP) are taking part in the eTwinning Project: Pek, The lazy flea 1. Our teams are working together with Lycée des métiers Louis Blériot from Trappes, France, Střední škola průmyslová a umělecká Hodonín, příspěvková organizace, Hodonín, Czech Republic and Agrupamento de Escolas D. Maria II, Sintra, Cacém, Portugal.
To make a long story short, our tiny flea, Pek, is lazy this year. He will not travel around but Pek will read the comic books which has already been produced and create games. A new generation of students will discover Pek’s past travels and will be in action to invent games.
To start the ball rolling, right now students from the different countries are introducing themselves to the rest of the eTwinning community members. Our students’ work is being closely supervised by the experienced eye of our ICT Teachers, José María Bey and Eva Pereira, and our Language Assistant Jason Schaefer. Here’s the video our 1º & 2º DAM students have just recorded to present our High School to the eTwinning community. We hope you like it!
You can also take a look at the riveting presentation our students have prepared with great care to share with the eTwinning partners. More updates about the work done by our students and the other European students coming up any time soon…
